it coaches you to discover your lifes passions.

Alembic gives you four ways to work with your journal:

In the Daily log, make daily entries in your digital diary.
In Deep dive, explore and discover your passions, goals,
constraints, and long-term life vision.
In Review, check in every week and every month to see how youre doing.
In Coaching, let Alembic suggest a writing exercise based on your writing habits.

** Daily Log **

The daily log is your digital diary. Tap on a day in the Calendar to choose it. To see what you wrote on a
different day, tap on that day in the calendar. The day highlighted in green is the one youre viewing and
editing. The days highlighted in blue have journal entries youve previously written. Enter your thoughts
just like you write in a paper journal or diary. Its designed for daily writing, and its fast to use.

With Alembic 2.0 you can style your thoughts with fonts and type styles. Add bold, italic, and underscores to your entries. On the iPad, choose from any font and style on your device.

If youre not in a writing mood, record audio or video instead of or in addition to writing an entry.
Its perfect for capturing a quick thought whenever you dont want to write. And take a picture,
a movie, or add images from your devices photo library to your journal.


** Deep Dive **

The deep dive helps your discover your life goals and passions through writing.

Explore the list of deep dive exercises, then tap on one to begin. There are nine exercises, which focus on your passions, goals,
constraints, and life vision. Tap the light bulb in the toolbar and review the journaling exercise. Most deep dives start with a brainstorm. Capture lists of ideas, impressions, and intuitions just as fast as you can enter them.

After capturing your ideas, bring your analytical mind into play by ranking your brainstorm items.
Identify and order the five or six most important ones. Tap the Edit button and drag the items into the right order.

Tap on each item and expand your ideas. Record audio or video, or add a picture to illustrate the idea.
Evaluate each items impact on your body, your mind and communication, your emotions and relationships, and
your personal values and spiritual life.

** Review Your Life **

When youre on track with your goals, passions, and your bucket list, you’re focused on whats most
important to you. Alembic lets you track your progress. As you write in your daily log, tap the Evaluate button.
Youll see a list of your passions, goals, and bucket list items. Each list item has a
slider. Adjust the slider to record how you feel you did that day. Then use Alembics Charts to see how youre
tracking against whats most important to you.

Once a week or once a month, tap the Review tab in the Navigator. Tap the Plans and Goals tab and brainstorm
your goals for the next week or month. Tap the Review tab and note your thoughts about the week or month
you’ve just finished.

Email or print your journal whenever you want. Alembic provides fully formatted PDF export of all your writing.
